220 gr spaghetti
2 tbs unsalted butter
1 1/2 tbs olive oil
1 tbs minced garlic
270 gr prawn
pinch black pepper
5gr parsley leaves
grated zest of 1/3 lemon
lemon juice (1/4 lemon)
pinch of chilli


  1. Drizzle some oil in a large pot of boiling salted water, add 1 tsp of salt and the spaghetti.
  2. Cook for about 7 - 10 minutes or according to the directions on the package.
  3. Meanwhile, in another large pan, melt buter and olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic, saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add shrimp, 1/3 tbsp of salt and the pepper and leave until shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Remove from heat, add parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice and chilli flakes.
  7. Toss to combine
  8. When the pasta is done, drain the cooked pasta and then put it back in the pot. Immediately add the shrimp and sauce, toss well and serve.
