Another farewell.... T-T
One of my closest friends went back for good to Indo on Sunday.

I probably need to start thinking about mine.
If nothing can hold me here, I will just do what I have planned here as soon as possible and leave for a while.

Finger cross.

Anyway, all the best for him and good luck.... and prob will see him very soon :p
As usual, weekend is my baking day.
I baked this chocolate lava cake yesterday and it turned out really yummy!

Too bad I don't have ice cream or strawberry at home to complete this heavenly dessert
Anddd.... yesterday, I was neat enough to decor the plate... just need something more colorful :p

Recipe from here

Ingredients:

2 large eggs
2 egg yolks
5 tbsp butter
3 tbsp caster sugar
100 gr dark chocolate bar
45gr plain flour
4tsp cocoa powder
pinch salt
1/8 tsp vanilla essence

Method:
  1. Butter the ramekin, put it in the large bowl, set aside.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate, put it aside.
  3. Mix the eggs and sugar until it changes to pale lemon color.
  4. Pour the chocolate and butter mix to the egg and sugar mix, stir well.
  5. Put flour and cocoa (sifted) into the batter and mix well.
  6. Add the salt and vanilla then mix well.
  7. Pour the batter into each ramekin, put in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in 217 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes.
ENJOY!
Okay, this is not as easy as I imagined.
Making chocolate chunk cookies. lol.

First fault, maybe the pastry flour I chose is not the correct one.
Second fault, I never make cookies before so I have no idea if the outside skin will be hard as soon as it's out of the oven and touch the air so... I simply over-bake it and it becomes really crunchy. Stupid stupid me!

It still tastes good and Thanks Goodness, the second batch turns out well after I learned from my mistakes not to over-bake it.

So here it is...

Recipe is from here, but I only make half batch and it's heappppsssssss already!!
Cute thing :))

New watch. Happy much!

Well, the color should be like this....

but pardon me for the light in my room, I can't get the right color in the pic.
Anw, it's exactly the same as in the pic above.
Love the 3 colors in it :))
Love the fact that it has date in it as I have not had any watch that has date features.
<3 <3 <3

Sunday brunch at home :))

  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

  2. Melt butter in the skillet and add the onion.  Cook 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until starting to soften.
  3. Add the garlic and cook another minute, stirring occasionally.
  4. Spray two small ramekin dishes with non-stick spray.  Divide the crumbled tots between the two dishes.
  5. Stir the onion, chile, garlic mixture into the dishes.
  6. Top with the mozzarella.
  7. Crack an egg into each ramekin.  Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the oven on the middle rack for 5 minutes.
  9. Broil on high for 5-6 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  10. Rest for 5 minutes before serving and warn diners that the ramekin is still hot.  (see pictures for alternate serving idea)
Well, it should look like below pic, but I am unable to take it out of the ramekin as I don't have non-stick spray. lol!

Good luck trying! :)

Finally I have a chance to make this popular cake, my RAINBOW!
But instead of making the whole cake, I make the cupcake version.

They are so pretty and cute, aren't they?
And it tastes good as well :)

Recipe!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1 and 3/4 cups plain flour, sifted
150 gr sugar
2 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
food coloring (red, blue, green and yellow)

Directions:

  1. Put butter in a mixing bowl.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together in separate bowl.
  3. With a mixer, mix the dry ingredients in slowly with the butter.
  4. Add 1/2 cup milk and the egg to the dry ingredients and beat until flour is fully moistened.
  5. Add the remaining milk, vanilla and beat for about another minute.
  6. Evenly divide the batter into six small bowls. Dye each bowl of batter a rainbow color; Purple – 9 red and 6 blue drops, Blue – 12 drops, Green – 12 drops, Yellow – 12 drops, Orange – 12 yellow and 4 red drops and Red– 18 drops.
  7. Line 12 muffin pan wells with baking cups. Evenly distribute the purple batter among the cups, then the blue, green, yellow, orange and then top with red, following the order listed. As you go, gently spread each layer of batter with the back of a spoon to cover the color underneath.
  8. Bake at 375F for 15 to 18 minutes or until a cake tester or toothpick inserted into the middle of a cupcake comes out clean.

Current obsession : Stripes Bag

drool!

Following today's trend, I am reading these E L James books trilogy of Fifty Shades of Grey.
I am up to the second book which is Fifty Shades Darker.
Hmmm... what can I say about this book?
Well it's surely an erotic novel, too details for the sex scene and definitely not for underage children.
But after passing half of the first book, it gets interesting.
For me, the story is not much, everything is just about the sex.
Personally, I will think that the real story line just started in the second book so maybe this will be more interesting and make people reading it more curious.

Anyway, there will be the movie of it.
Ian Somerhalder will play as Christian Grey. So agree!
Damn! I will make sure I watch every episode :p

Those eyes! Gosh!

Too many good pics of him that I can't put it here anymore.
I think he's really suitable for Grey role.
Wondering who will be the lead actress.

Can't wait for the movie. Ciao!
It's been a while.

My grandmother passed away on Tuesday noon.
It happened so sudden... so fast.
No one even expects it as she was all fine and healthy.
And no one knows what the reason of her death.
She just suddenly had a heavy breath and when my mother brought her to the hospital she's gone already.

My dad called me straight away that noon and needed me to go back to Indo the next morning.
Fiuhhh... well, everything happened for a reason, huh?
Maybe it's the best for her, maybe it's just God's way for her, to take her to His side to live happily and forever with Him.
And anyway, she's 83 years old and people said... in today's life if a person has passed 80 years, we need to be happy and let her go as she/he has already enough time :)

Goodbye Grandma, Rest in Peace...
May God Bless U always and accept you in His side :)
Welcoming my new baby in the kitchen :)
Thanks to my friend who told me there is a sale price for this set and helped me to buy this first :))

Well, you know what this means right?
I will try to make some creme bruleeeeee!!!

Oh well, I saw this video last night on Facebook when I was about to sleep.
Speechless but it's funny! LOL!

Enjoy girls >.<

Finally I make something Red Velvet.
This one is Red Velvet Cake Pops.
The funny thing is I never taste red velvet cake or cupcake before, so when I make this today.. I take a small piece, taste it and I was like 'Is the taste should be like this? I don't even know if the taste is correct.'

Stupid enough? hahaha...
Lucky I have a friend living in my place at the moment, so when she wakes up I asked her to taste and she said 'yes, it's supposed to be like this'.
Great! Relieved!

Recipe: Bakerella

It's supposed to be dipped all in the chocolate but I ran out of chocolate and too tired to do it one by one so I just decorate some of them like a chocolate cage. LOL!

Apparently, I am not a decorating person. haha...
Saw this yummy recipe in Pinterest and can't avoid to not to try.
So I made this yesterday for lunch.
My housemate really loves it.
Made 12 of it and it's gone now :))

Step 1: Cook 1 lb ground beef & season w/ taco seasoning.
Step 2: Use non-stick spray on muffin tin & place wonton wrappers in muffin tin.
Step 3: Fill uncooked wontons with beef & top with shredded cheese.
Step 4: Bake @350 for 8 minutes

Done! Enjoy eating!
