Nothing do to while I'm waiting for my friend to pick me up.
Going to Semarang for another friend's wedding.
Another friend also got proposed yesterday. Hmmm.... :s

Anyway, posting this to spend my spare-time. Travelling plan this year:

1. Korea in April with friends.

2. Philippines in June with boyfie and his friends.

Definitely will do culinary there. I tried Philippine's food once in Cairns and I am in love. So tasty, so yummy, so delicious, so homey. Yum!

3. A friend asks to go to Greece and Turkey, if possible I really would like to go. In fact that his holiday plans, places and activities always amaze me hahaha...

Time to save money :)
It's always exciting to talk about holiday and trips, especially if it is your holiday.
I know I have been travelling a lot recently but that's what you should do when you're young, isn't it?
Once you have your own family and particularly when you start having your kids, travelling becomes harder.

I know I need to settle as soon as possible. I need to find a decent job and makes my parents and also myself more calm.
But I can't help myself planning my next trip. Ups!

Well, in mid-October I am going to Bali for my friend's wedding and will b there just for few days. Enough to have fun, it's gonna be a sweet getaway accompanied by best friends and amazing Bali's beach view.

In mid-November, my big family and I will be going to Hong Kong for my cousin's wedding.
Damn! Everyone is getting married but thanks to them so I have more reason to travel.

And.... in June next year (I know this one is too long to be told now), but anyway... my boyfriend, his friends and I are going to Cebu Philippines. I know we should go to Boracay or Palawan (the popular place) or at least Manila.
But we got $2 ticket for return to Cebu, so why not? As long as it's overseas, we can still explore something new. Correct?
I can always enjoy Philippines' food if there is nothing else to see in Cebu.
I tried their food once in Cairns and OH MY GOD, I love love love it!
It makes me wanting to try more but they don't have it here in Melbourne and I doubt it as well in Indo.
My cousin and my Filo friends also told me that when you're in Philippines, everything everywhere is pork.

Oh man! I am drooling already! Can't wait til next year.
I am back to town.
As much as I love traveling, there is still no place better than home.
I was back on Friday night and had a me-time for the past 2 days. Fiuhhh.... So good to be home.

Time for the report...
New Zealand is okay, at least the north island is.
I am not sure about South, but people always say the South is better which I think it's true.
My friend from Indonesia also went to NZ at the same time as me but he went to the South one and his pictures look amazing, not like mine ;p
Dammit!

The north one... hmm... what can I say? It's kinda boring.
Only few attractions, mostly are outdoor activities in which if you won't do it there is nothing much to do left. Not that I am not an outdoor person, it's just not the time. We did not go there aiming for the outdoor things; besides I have done skydiving before in Melbourne.

First, Auckland is just another city. I would like to say metropolitan city but it's not that metro as well.
It's big but the city is small. If you don't rent a car, you're screwed.
It's quiet, not that a lot of people (even) compared to Melbourne.
We visited Sky Tower which I admit the city view is amazing especially in sunset. But that's all about it!

We also went to Bay of Islands to see Hole in the Rock and 'dolphin' supposedly.
In fact, no dolphin which I was really really disappointed. The hole in the rock? Well..... for me it's not attractive at all.

The Hobbiton in Matamata is the nicest one of all places we visited in NZ.
At least it's unique, special and beautiful.

Rotorua and Wellington are even worse. There is not many things there.
Polynesian Spa and OGO in Rotorua are the only one I like.
I am sure NZ is popular for the view and nature but I did not see this in North Island.
Ohh... by the way, the food sucks and it's expensive too.
The food I had that I considered good in NZ was only the steak from The Grill by Sean Connolly in Auckland.

So, if you are going to NZ, make sure you go to the South instead of North and hope that you are outdoor activities person (ski, bungee jumping, skydive, rafting, diving, etc).

*PS: more pics in my Instagram
I am going to New Zealand. Confirmed!

It's all so sudden and we just talked about it last week, plan the trip and destinations, arrange the time and finally book everything today.
Anw, after a long thought, we decided to just go to Auckland and Wellington for now, but we will also stop over in Rotorua.
Don't think it's cheap, it's expensive considered it's close to Melbourne.

Anyway, will be a tiring week but hope everything is going well and smooth.

I know it's been a while since my last post.
I understand my previous post's title is 'til the second day',
but 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th and so on... I have no more energy to blog.
We always got back home really late between 11pm to 1am.
Our feet were killing us every day. We were super duper tired but it's all worth it.
We enjoyed every moment, every food, every heat in Singapore. I swear it's so hot.
I remember Singapore is used to be chilling and has just a perfect weather. Guess global warming is really happening.

Anw, my boyfriend went back to Indonesia already this evening. Sad? Of course.
8 days are too fast. And just because he went back, I have a lotttttt of time to do whatever.
In fact, I don't know what I should do. I will also have the whole day tomorrow to spend. Haiz....
I wish I can go back to Melbourne today as well.

Well, forget about that, now let's talk what we did this week.
We basically just eat eat and eat, walk walk and walk.
We were being a tourist for few days and it's so damn tiring.

Ohh... we also went out several times with our friend here.
Being with a local is always good, we tried new food, new things, know new places. Just nice!
Not too forget... we watched Fast Furious 6. Of course! And it's the premiere one, with the normal price. I have no idea how this works in Singapore, or is it normal?

Last but not least, we shopped. In Singapore, who doesn't?

00:00 now... Good night!
Been eating like crazy since the first day...
Guess I seriously need to be back on my diet as soon as I come back to Melbourne.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures and til the next post :)

I love Emirates

Next destination.... New Zealand?
Anyone? *winkwink

Fiuh... finally I'm here back in Indo.
I know... I know.. I haven't posted anything recently.
I went to China on 5th April and just got back home yesterday.
Imagine the tiredness... Massive!

Didn't do anything yesterday except stayed the whole day on the bed, laid down, browsed the Internet and talked to bf at night. Even my luggage is still there... in my room's floor, abandoned.
Today is a bit better but I feel like I'm getting flu. Yesterday headache, today is blocked nose. Great!

Anyway, China is okayyy.... hahaha... I still prefer Europe :p
I went there with my mom, went on a tour. The tour was so big, 44 people in total which I think it's crazy.
It's just too big. Too long to wait for others and waste the time but what can I do? Anw, it passed already.

Seeing China today change my view and belief about China.
I used to think that China is dirty (well in some places, it's still dirty esp toilet).
I used to think that China is not worthy to be visited but in fact China has developed a lot.
They said it's because the government decided to open China 10 years ago to public, to communicate and to allow people to come in or come out... and it worked.
The country is so rich, the citizen are happy and proud to be Chinese.
Compared to Indonesia, I feel so ashamed. I can see many developments are still going on in China starting from building, road, public transport, market, etc.

They have tolls which are connecting the whole China built in just 10 years (to go in and to go out each city).
They have China Shinkansen which can run up to 350km/hr and it beats Japanese's one now.
They have the longest TV in the world in Suzhou.
They work out every city to have tourist attractions to attract foreigner.
And so on so on and so on.
I must admit they are success building their country.

However, even I admire it, I don't want to live there for a living.
I still can't stand it. I still love Melbourne better.
Ohh will be back to Melbourne soon to settle the unfinished business.

Ciao!

Hosh hosh...
Been away from the Internet for a while.
Travelled much, tired much, got sick much.

I've been getting flu for almost 2 weeks and it's still here in my body until now.
Haven't recovered completely.
Well, no wonder as I've been hanging around to many places instead of having a full bed rest like a flu person should do ;p

Anyway, I went to Malaysia last week and then stayed in Jakarta for few days before heading back to my lovely hometown again.
Lovely? Hmmmm....

After visiting some places, staying in few countries recently, spending the night in hotels and also in my friend's house....
I realize that nothing can beat the feel of home.
And where is mine?
At first, I thought, going back to my hometown is my version of home.
Or deep inside my heart, I hope I can also feel home in Jakarta.
Apparently, you can't lie to your heart.
I still leave my heart in Melbourne.

Even tho I admit that Melbourne is getting bored and quiet but the feeling of home is just perfect there.
Or maybe because I've stayed in that city too long.
Or maybe that I haven't settled or have my own place in Jakarta nor any job to do.
Or maybe I have no more freedom when I am back to my hometown.

Anything is possible here... but for sure, I miss my Melbourne's life.
For sure, I need to adapt as soon as possible where ever I go in the future... soon.
Been in Jakarta for the past 10 days, spending my Xmas and NY there.
It was so lovely and memorable, thanks to someone and not to forget big kiss for my best friend :)

Jakarta is actually not bad after all. Maybe because I come at the right time, when a lot of people go overseas and out of town. The traffic is still there, of course. It's not called Jakarta if there is no traffic, but my friends told me that I was lucky enough the traffic was not as bad as usual. hahaha... and I was like 'what? okay' while I recalled that I was swearing a lot (in my head) on my 1st and 2nd day as I kept thinking the traffic was crazy and the rain did not stop.

2nd thing is probably because most of my friends stay in Jakarta now. It feels... I'm back alive. Time passed quickly, the city itself is crowded and live, I feel my life's rotation goes fast, a lot of things to do, shops open early and close late, and the night life does exists.

Well every city surely has pro and contra. The safety, the comfort and the beauty? Jakarta is nothing compared to Melbourne.

Anyway, in conclusion, I do enjoy my time in Jakarta... and I would love to come back to this city again (though the airport so sucks).

Now enjoy the pics.
Ciao!
